Angelina Jolie mentions ex Brad Pitt in new interview; REVEALS how the past few years have been ‘pretty hard’

2021 will mark five years since the turbulent separation of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie which shocked the world. While their divorce proceedings continue on, in a recent interview with British Vogue, Jolie spoke candidly about how it”s been all about “healing” her family as Brad and she have six children; Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14 and twins Vivienne and Knox Léon, 12.

When Edward Enninful asked Angelina is she feels as if she’s at a “happy stage” in her life, the 45-year-old actress confided, “I don’t know. The past few years have been pretty hard. I’ve been focusing on healing our family. It’s slowly coming back, like the ice melting and the blood returning to my body.” Referring to her current home, which used to be the late Cecil B DeMille’s former estate, Jolie confessed that she wanted her house to be close to her children’s father aka Brad, whose abode is only five minutes away.

Angelina further quipped that she “felt a little pressure moving in” because she thought she was sneaking into where DeMille and Charlie Chaplin would hang out. The aspect Jolie loves the most about the house is that there is no entertainment room but lots of pathways and places to “walk and think,” for which the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil star feels “very fortunate” they have at this time.

During the same interview with British Vogue, Angelina confessed that she’s “lacking” in all the skills required to be a “traditional stay-at-home mom” but is currently managing as her children are “quite resilient.” While her kids are definitely helping her out, Jolie is still of the opinion that she’s not good at it at all.
