The APAN Star Awards 2020 concluded this weekend, recognising and awarding the best of K-dramas from the year gone by. The awards show, which includes the Music Awards and the Star Awards, was previously scheduled to take place in November 2020. However, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the organisers to delay it to January 23 and January 24. At the awards show, BTS singer V picked up an APAN Star Award for his hit OST Sweet Night, which featured in Itaewon Class.
The Park Seo Joon starrer not only saw Taehyung picked up the musical award but also won the Drama of the Year. Meanwhile, Crash Landing on You won three awards. This included the Daesang, won by Hyun Bin, Best Supporting Actor awarded to Kim Young Min and Best Supporting Actress, presented to Kim Sun Young. It”s Okay To Not Be Okay also picked up three awards – Excellence Award, Actress in a Miniseries, Best Supporting Actor and popularity awards.
Once Again, The World of the Married, Hospital Playlist and When the Camellia Blooms also picked up a few awards.
