Bappi Lahiri in ICU after testing positive for Covid

MUMBAI: After getting tested covid positive, veteran music composer Bappi Lahiri was shifted to the Hospital, but now the singer has been shifted to ICU. 

Updating in his father’s health, Bappa quoted to the leading media portal that, “My father is stable now. But he is in the ICU. He was detected with a mild Covid 19 infection on Wednesday. But the reason for concern is, he already has a pulmonary condition. He is in Breach Candy hospital. We can’t meet him. He is under Dr Udwadia’s supervision. We are relieved that he is getting the best care possible.” 

Adding further he said, “It’s tough because Dad is alone. We are not allowed to meet him. He has never been alone. Either our Mom or one of us my sister Reema or me, have always been with him.”

Bappi Lehri was shifted to Breach Candy Hospital. Bappi dada’s family requests all those who came in contact with him in the recent past to get themselves tested as a precautionary measure

Bappi Lahiri is best known for his works in Wardat, Disco Dancer, Namak Halaal, Dance Dance, Commando, Saheb, Gang Leader, Sailaab and Sharaabi and was immensely popular in the 1980s and 1990s for his music compositions.
