The grand premiere of the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 witnessed full of glitz and glamour on 03rd October 2021. Actor – politician Kamal Haasan returned as the host of the much popular reality show for the fifth time in row.
The Bigg Boss show is airing on Star Vijay and Disney+ Hotstar, which will run upto 100 days. Kamal Haasan introduced all the 18 contestants on the premiere episode and wished them good luck for the show. This time, the season 5 features a unique combination of contestants including singers, actors, folk artists, anchors and entrepreneurs.
All the contestants had also followed a mandatory quarantine period as per the Covid-19 protocol.
