For Luv Ranjan’s untitled next, it has been reported that film producer, Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia have been roped in to play Ranbir Kapoor’s parents in the film.
According to TOI, Ranjan felt the film producer would be the perfect fit to play Kapoor’s father, however Kapoor was not so keen and it took a lot of convincing from family members before he agreed to come on board.
“Boney was their reference point. While the filmmaker had refused the offer, Luv persisted. He asked Arjun Kapoor to convince him and the actor promptly reached out to him, and also got Anshula, Janhvi, and Khushi to do the convincing. Eventually, Boney gave in,” said a close source.
Both the ‘Sanju’ (2018) star and Shraddha Kapoor headed out to Noida on 9thJanuary to commence filming for the rom-com and Kapoor is set to join them on 11th January.
