Cheteshwar Pujara Closing In On Virat Kohli, Sunil Gavaskar To Joining Elite List

Indias Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara is 45 runs away from getting to 1000 runs against England in the format in India. The fourth Test in Ahmedabad gives him an opportunity to go past the tally and join the likes of Sunil Gavaskar and Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Pujara on the other has scored 955 runs from 12 matches against England. Pujara had scored his highest Test score of 206* against England at Ahmedabad in 2012.

Cheteshwar Pujara has not been at his best so far in the series. He has scored just one fifty-plus score and has been dismissed by Jack Leach a couple of times. Pujara will be itching to get some runs under his belt in the final game and be back in form.
