As the entire world is wishing Hrithik Roshan on his 47th birthday, and celebrating the superstar’s special day with him, several industry insiders with whom the actor has had a long and fruitful relationship with are also leaving no stone unturned in narrating their favourite Hrithik Roshan memories and what they find truly special about him. One such person is choreographer Bosco Martis, with whom the War actor has worked on several memorable dance numbers. In an interview with Times of India, Bosco Martis regaled all that he adores about the birthday boy.
“He’s a perfectionist, and a taskmaster. He never compromises on anything. He won’t allow mediocrity because he lives his work and is very passionate about dancing. He is a trendsetter. He’s such a perfectionist and you can see that he gives his 500% to every film,” said Bosco Martis while heaping praise on Hrithik Roshan.
When quizzed about his favourite Hrithik performance and dance number, the National-Award-winning choreographer reminisced, “It has to be be Koi Mil Gaya. For an actor to go through that journey onscreen–the change in body language–it’s commendable. There’s a lot of hard work that has gone into it. As for his best dance performance, my personal favourite is Tu Meri, but I think he was effortless and added a lot of swag to Bang Bang, too.”
Recounting a BTS moment from the shoot of the song, Jai Jai Shiv Shankar in War, Bosco added, “During the shoot of Jai Jai Shiv Shankar, we had used a lot of aerated drinks to make the floor suitable for dancing. But it had become so sticky that we had to put dust on it. Hrithik also started working on it along with the whole unit. These are moments that you can never forget. He keeps you on your toes all the time.”
Well, that’s Hrithik Roshan for you.
