Jax Taylor seemingly addressed his alleged firing from Vanderpump Rules during an Instagram Live with his fans and followers on Friday.
Months after claiming he quit the Bravo reality show to focus on starting a family with wife Brittany Cartwright, Jax spoke of “attack culture” before dishing on his unborn son, his future in Kentucky, and his plans for a tell-all about his time on Pump Rules.
“It sucks that you can’t be real and say what’s on your mind,” Jax told his online audience after reportedly being removed from the cast due to his false claims regarding Faith Stowers‘ supposed criminal behavior and garnering backlash after hiring a supposedly homophobic pastor to officiate his and Brittany’s wedding in 2019.
As viewers of the show may recall, Jax, Stassi Schroeder, and Kristen Doute, suggested Faith had a role in a crime she didn’t commit after it was revealed that Jax and Faith had slept together behind Brittany’s back.
“There’s nothing you can say anymore that doesn’t offend somebody in this world. People love to attack people for saying things. It’s like attack culture,” Jax explained.
Following his claims about today’s culture, Jax began speaking of the upcoming birth of his son, revealing that he’s most nervous about the car ride home from the hospital.
“I haven’t stopped thinking about it,” he admitted.
Luckily, after he and Brittany arrive back at their $1.9 million home in Valley Village, Brittany’s mom, Sherri Cartwright, will be flying in from Kentucky to give them “a little bit of help.”
“My mother-in-law is awesome. I love her to death. I want her here now,” Jax shared. “She’s a great lady to have around. She’s so funny and a sweet person. I’ve never met somebody who’s so hilarious that just loves life.”
As for his recent revelation regarding his plans to purchase a home in Kentucky, where Brittany’s family resides, Jax said that he hopes to make the move in the next year and would consider opening a steakhouse in the area.
“It’s not happening today but it is in the foreseeable future… Maybe next year, if I can talk Brittany into it… I want to raise my kid in Kentucky [but] I’ve got to get Brittany on board,” he noted.
Also during his IG Live, Jax said he’s considering writing a tell-all, even though it would likely lead to estrangements between him and other members of the show.
“Maybe I’ll wait another year or so and I’ll do a tell-all. I’ve got nine years worth of sh*t to talk about,” he explained. “I would make it about the sh*t that happened on the show. I probably won’t have any friends after that, but whatever.”
