Jordyn Woods Receives Sweet Shout Out From Karl-Anthony Towns As He Reveals He Was Hit By Drunk Driver

Jordyn Woods has been Karl Anthony Towns’ rock for the duration of their relationship. The NBA baller gave his lady a sweet shout out while revealing a devastating incident.

While hosting a Q&A on his Instagram Stories, Karl revealed that he was hit by a drunk driver in the off-season and had to be hospitalized for it.

One fan asked him how he’s managed to overcome it all to which he answered, in part: ‘My woman has held me down more than the world knows. From my mother and family members dying (1 on her bday in Cabo), getting hit by a drunk driver (was 2pm in the afternoon FYI) in LA this off-season and staying with me in the hospital for the night and helping me in rehab, to this stint with COVID.’

He also advised men to get a woman like Jordyn to be by their side and when they do — treat them right.

‘My love for her knows no bounds and I would be remiss if I don’t acknowledge the power a good woman can have in your life. Men, treat your woman like a Queen so she can treat you like a King.’

Karl has already had such a hard year. On top of losing multiple relatives to COVID, he was diagnosed with the illness himself recently.

‘Prior to tonight’s game, I received yet another awful call that I tested positive for COVID. I will immediately isolate and follow every protocol. I pray every day that this nightmare of a virus will subside and I beg everyone to continue to take it seriously by taking all the necessary precautions. It breaks my heart that my family, and particularly my father and sister continue to suffer from the anxiety that comes along with this diagnosis as we know all too well what the end result could be. To my niece and nephew … I promise you I will not end up in a box next to grandma and I will beat this.’

Hopefully, 2021 is a better year for the professional athlete.
