MUMBAI: The most awaited movie of all times is Karan Johar’s most ambitious project Takht featuring a star-studded cast which includes Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal Alia Bhatt Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. The rumors that the movie has been shelved due to a COVID-induced financial crunch, are untrue.
When the director was contacted he categorically stated, “Takht is not shelved. It’s just delayed.”

With shootings coming to a halt in 2020, Karan’s post-pandemic pending projects must be prioritized according to the work remaining on the individual films. Once these projects are completed, Karan Johar will start work on Takht.
