Kareena Kapoor Khan sends prayers for the safety & well being of those affected by Uttarakhand’s glacier burst

The news about the Uttarakhand glacier burst has left everyone in deep shock. The calamity happened when a portion of the Nanda Devi glacier broke off in the Chamoli district of the state on Sunday. It majorly damaged the Rishiganga dam at the Alaknanda river. According to the latest reports, seven bodies have been recovered till now and around 127 people are feared missing. Trivendra Singh Rawat, CM of Uttarakhand has visited the area to take stock of the situation.

Meanwhile, numerous netizens and celebs alike have prayed for those affected by the natural disaster. Many of them have shared the contact number of the disaster management authorities and other helpline numbers for those in need of assistance. Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan is the latest Bollywood celeb who took to her Instagram handle and spoke about the disaster. She wrote, “Sending prayers for the safety and well being of those affected by the terrible tragedy unfolding in #Uttarakhand.”

Apart from Kareena Kapoor Khan, numerous other celebs from the showbiz industry have condoled the demise of those who succumbed to the Uttarakhand glacier burst and prayed for the others affected by it. Among them are Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Tamannaah Bhatia, and many others. Meanwhile, the pictures and videos that have surfaced on the internet showing the aftermath of the natural disaster has further left everyone in deep shock.
