Karnan First Look & Release Date: Dhanush to be seen in a powerful resilient avatar; Film’s release on April 9

Karnan directed by Pariyerum Perumal fame Mari Selvaraj is one of the much-awaited Tamil films that audience is eagerly looking forward to. Starring Dhanush in the lead role, Karnan has set high expectations among the moviegoers since its inception. Now, the Maari actor has shared a powerful look of him from the film along with the release date that has taken social media by storm already. One can see, Dhanush in an intriguing look is handcuffed and wounded. Sharing it on Twitter, he wrote, “#Karnan first look and “THEATRICAL RELEASE”date !!” 

Karnan is releasing worldwide on April 9. “The soul of justice never dies,” tweeted Mari Selvaraj as he shared the poster. The upcoming film also stars Rajisha Vijayan, Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli, Lal, Natarajan Subramanian, Yogi Babu, Alagamperumal, Gouri G Kishan among others. The music is scored by Santhosh Narayanan. Karnan is said to be an action- entertainer and is based on a real incident that took place in an estate near Tirunelveli.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is currently occupied with the shooting of his 5 upcoming films. He will be seen in Karthick Subburaj’s Jagame Thanthiram, Bollywood film Atrangi Re, Selvaraghavan’s Aayirathil Oruvan 2, Hollywood film ‘Gray Man’ directed by Russo Brothers and a yet to be titled project. The Pattas actor recently headed to US for the shooting of his upcoming Hollywood film. Meanwhile, fans are eagerly looking forward to a big announcement of Jagame Thandhiram’s release date.
