Kenya Moore is responding to allegations that she didn’t donate to Kandi BurrussKandi Cares charity, and she also reacted to her co-star’s comments about her bringing her daughter Brooklyn, 2, on their cast trip while flying private.

On the January 17 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the ladies were seen attending Kandi’s charity event and passing out food to single mothers in need. Kandi revealed that Porsha Williams donated $5,000 to the charity and fans watched as Marlo Hampton handed over a $5,000 check.

Later in the episode, Kandi told the cameras in a confessional that she was surprised by how generous Porsha and Marlo had been, but she claimed some of her other cast members weren’t as generous.

“I’m really not supposed to put people on blast about their giving, but I will say some people aren’t as giving as I thought they would be,” she quipped.

Fans immediately began to speculate that the Old Lady Gang founder was referring to Kenya. Then, on her Speak On It YouTube series, Kandi all but confirmed who she was referring to as she chatted with her longtime business partner, Don Juan Clark. Don Juan pretty much insinuated that some ladies didn’t give anything at all.

“You know, I can buy an ice sculpture for an event, but I can’t feed some people? Okay, I’m just being honest. I’m not counting pockets, but the ice sculpture is gonna melt,” Don Juan said with attitude.

If fans recall, Kenya threw Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill a surprise engagement party earlier in the season that featured an ice sculpture. Therefore, it wasn’t difficult for fans to put two and two together.

Soon after, Kenya appeared on Watch What Happens Live to celebrate her 50th birthday with Andy Cohen and the viewers. Of course, one viewer wrote in and asked the former Miss USA to explain why she didn’t make a donation to Kandi’s charity.

“Oh, well I did,” Kenya promised. “And I gave more than $5,000. So I don’t know why people assumed that Kandi was speaking about me.”

Nevertheless, as controversial as the reality star is, the charity donation wasn’t the only thing she needed to explain during her WWHL appearance. On the January 24 episode, the ladies were seen traveling to Charleston for Cynthia’s bachelorette party, but rather than slumming it in a bus with her co-stars, Kenya took a private jet and invited newcomer LaToya Ali to fly along with her and baby Brooklyn. Needless to say, her castmates were not too happy once they found out about Kenya’s fancy travel arrangement or the fact that she was bringing her little one along.

“The double standards? That’s not what’s gonna happen on this trip,” Porsha said on the episode. “The fact that Kenya brought her daughter and didn’t even extend the option to me [or the other women] that’s just wrong.”

Andy mentioned Porsha’s concern and asked, “Kenya, did you feel at all bad hopping on that PJ with the baby when the other ladies weren’t bringing their kids and were getting driven?”

“Well, no to the fact that they were being driven because we had to go down there before everyone else,” Kenya responded according to Bravo TV. “But I don’t feel bad about the ladies not being able to bring their children because I always brought my child on every single trip since I had Brooklyn. So, to me, that’s just a fact that I always bring her.”
