Kiara Advani to Janhvi Kapoor: ALL the celeb inspired trendy makeup looks that you need to try ASAP

Makeup has always been a way to express creativity and to elevate the look to a whole new level. Now that celebs are starting to play dress-up again, they’re making to keep things balanced especially in the makeup department. Gone are the days of heavy contouring and bright eyeshadows. With neutral shades and natural blushed tones, makeup is now used to enhance the natural features. Clearly, the past year has impacted the fashion industry and especially the way we see makeup.

While not a lot of celebrities have stepped out and gone OTT, there are a few who have managed to create a statement every now and then. From beach vacations to formal events, we’ve seen quite a lot of celebrities showing off their makeup skills and here are some of our favourite picks! 

First up, we have Janhvi Kapoor who like to experiment with makeup every now and then. While this time around she kept her look neutral and stuck to the classics like kohl-rimmed eyes and a tinted lip, she elevated the look with faux freckles. Yes, gone are the days of hiding your spots and freckles! This new trend is clearly taking over the internet and it’s time you try it too. 

Moving on is yet another look by the Dhadak actress. This Kardashian-Esque glam is very ‘90s inspired with a soft black smokey eye paired with a flawless base. What steals the show is the dark lip liner paired with a lighter shade of lipstick. It’s not an easy trend to pull off but Janhvi surely does it right! 

Ananya Panday surely loves the coral glow and makes sure to rock the trend in style. While we’ve all spent the last year trying to perfect our skincare routine with occasional pamper sessions, it’s time to show off that glow and smooth skin. Ditch your layers of foundations and concealer and opt for a cheek tint that works perfectly to give you a well-rounded glow. Just a hint of colour on your cheeks, nose and eyes will take you a long way! 

Moving away from natural looks to more glamorous ones, Kiara Advani showed us that neutral shades can be the perfect pick to enhance your natural features. She picked out for a soft contour while going a little darker on the eyelids. A matching beige lipstick paired with filled-in eyebrows made for the perfect look. 

Pro Tip: If you’re in the mood for a more glamorous look, you can top the look off with a hint of copper shadow on the eyelids. 

Sara Ali Khan knows classics go a long way which is why a perfect kohl-rimmed eye with smudged edges and loads of mascara is the winner. It literally goes with everything in your closet. So on days when you don’t know which makeup look to choose, Sara’s look is perfect for you!
