Kim So Hyun REVEALS she got close to Ji Soo really quickly whilst filming River Where The Moon Rises

Kim Ji Soo in a lead role in a Saeguk drama? Yes, please! The young Hallyu star is teaming up with the talented Kim So Hyun in a new historical drama River Where The Moon Rises. With the release of their new drama just around the corner; the actors praised each other and also discussed their on-screen chemistry in their second outing together. The actors have previously worked together in the mini-drama, Page Turner. River Where The Moon Rises is their first full-fledged drama opposite one another in lead roles.

In an interview with Newsen via Soompi, when asked about their passionate on-screen chemistry Kim So Hyun shared, “Maybe it’s because it’s the second time we’re working together, but we got close really quickly.” To this Ji Soo agreed in unison and said that it”s great to be working together again for a longer duration since filming the short and sweet mini-drama Page Turner in the past. Kim So Hyun also showered praises on Ji Soo describing him as someone who has a bright and unique personality. Ji Soo too shared Kim So Hyun’s excitement and remarked that he cannot wait to see how the drama will be presented to audiences.

For fans who might not be well versed, River Where The Moon Rises is an upcoming Saeguk (historical drama). Based on the novel Princess Pyeonggang by author Choi Saggyu, it narrates the passionate love story between Pyeong Gang, played by Kim So Hyun, who was born a princess and raised as a soldier and General On Dal, played by Ji Soo, and how they must overcome numerous challenges and face all kinds of adversities to protect their love. River Where the Moon Rises will premiere on KBS 2TV on February 15 at 9:30 pm KST.
