Lisa Vanderpump Slams RHOBH Cast as Sheep and Reacts to "Team Rinna" Guest on

Lisa Vanderpump was met with an unruly guest while filming her new show, Overserved, in 2020.

During a new interview, Lisa revealed who brought up Lisa Rinna on the E! series before shading her former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmates as “sheep” and discussing what fans may see “little glimpses” of during the upcoming ninth season of Vanderpump Rules.

“We were cooking and we were decorating tables and we were having fun … and I just thought, ‘Wow, wouldn’t it be fun to do something documenting all of this?’” Lisa told Entertainment Tonight of how Overserved came about.

According to Lisa, it was choosing the guests who would join her at her Beverly Hills estate, Villa Rosa, for dinner that was the “fun part” part of production. However, one particular guest, Michael Turchin, the husband of Lisa’s longtime friend, Lance Bass, made a bit of an odd move when he declared himself “Team Rinna.”

Luckily, Lisa didn’t seem to mind the reference to her former RHOBH cast mate.

“He just said ‘Team Rinna’ for joke because that was the second of it,” she explained.

After confirming that she doesn’t really mention her ex-co-stars because she doesn’t “think about them,” she compared herself to a lion while slamming the other women as sheep.

“The lion doesn’t care what the sheep were doing,” Lisa said, adding that she would never welcome them to appear on Overserved.

“That would never happen,” she stated. “It got too mean. [But] I don’t hold any resentment.”

Although Lisa said goodbye to RHOBH nearly two years ago, her spinoff, Pump Rules, “will live on.”

“I’m not allowed to say anything until Bravo announces it. But there’s always a lot of stories,” she teased. “We’ve lost a couple of people along the way, unfortunately, but there’s still a lot of people that the audience knows and loves.”

Following the firings of Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni, in June 2020, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, who is expecting a baby boy in April, confirmed their exits from the series in December. Since then, Stassi and Lala Kent have welcomed their first children, baby girls, and cast member Scheana Shay is expecting her daughter in the coming weeks.

“You might see little glimpses of it,” Lisa said of her cast mates’ baby news.

Lisa went on to say that she absolutely “loves” Lala, who will soon be seen on Overserved.

“She was naughty and she got it wrong sometimes, but that’s what Vanderpump Rules is. They were young and they were growing up and they were finding their way. And she’s just such a lovely girl,” Lisa gushed.

Also during the interview, Lisa spoke of her upcoming memoir.

“This isn’t a book that I think of a title and a ghost writer is writing it. I have written … thousands and thousands and thousands of words,” she shared. “It’s a motivational book, but it has a lot of stories, where I think I went wrong or I could have done this and what I’ve learned from my mistakes.”

Overserved With Lisa Vanderpump airs Thursdays 9/8c on the E! Network.
