The Madhya Pradesh government on Friday announced night curfew in five cities. The curfew will come into force from November 21, from 10 pm till 6 am.
After Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a review meeting with heath officials, it was announced that night curfew will be imposed in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Ratlam and Vidisha. However, the night curfew will not hinder movement of transportation vehicles and labour working in factories.
Schools up to Class VIII will remain shut in Madhya Pradesh.
Night curfew will continue until Covid cases have stabilised, said Chouhan. On November 20, 1,529 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the state.
