Meghan Trainor & Spy Kids alum Daryl Sabara welcome their first child; Reveal his name in sweet IG post

Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara just welcomed their first child, a baby boy! The 27-year-old “All About That Bass” superstar and the 28-year-old Spy Kids actor confirmed the happy news via Instagram just moments ago.  “This sweet baby boy’s due date was today on Valentine’s Day. We got to meet him Monday, Feb 8th! We are SO IN LOVE. Thank you @darylsabara for the best Valentine’s gift ever! Welcome to the world Riley!” Meghan captioned the sweet first look at their child.

 

As soon as the new mom posted the photos of Riley, many of her famous friends congratulated the duo. Model Ashley Graham wrote: “Riley!!! Congratulations to the world!!! Congratulations mom and dad!!” Musician Raja Kumari wrote “OMG I’m in love” and “My nephew is here,” Lizzie McGuire alum Hilary Duff even liked the carousel on photos. 

 

For the unversed, Meghan and Daryl married in December of 2018 and have been very vocal about wanting to start a family since then. The duo announced their pregnnacy in October 2020 via The Today Show. “I”m very good as you can tell — it’s all Christmas here,” the mom-to-be teased, adding, “But there’s other news that I’m dying to tell you and my heart’s pounding out of my chest.” As Trainor says, “Hit it, Daryl,” her husband proudly reveals, “We’re pregnant!”” “We’re so excited we couldn’t sleep,” says Trainor. “We’ve been waiting for so long. I was thinking about who do we tell first and I’ve told Hoda since I was 19, going to the Today show, ‘I will have the most babies in the world.'” She adds, “Every time I see you, I’m like, it’s going to happen — and it finally happened!”.
