Oscar-winning music legend, AR Rahman has just confirmed that he will be producing the soundtrack for the upcoming war film Pippa that will star Ishaan Khatter, Priyanshu Painyuli and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. The film is being directed by Raja Krishan Menon.

Pippa is being helmed by Raja Krishna Menon and will be a movie adaptation of the book ‘The Burning Chaffees’ authored by Brig. Balram Singh Mehta. Newcomer Ishaan Khatter will be portraying him on screen. Brig. Mehta served at the 1971 Indo-Pak war, from the 45th Cavalry tank squadron.
Needless to say, everyone is excited to see AR Rahman create some through the songs of the film. Prior to this, he has composed several patriotic songs like ‘Ye Ko Des Hai Tera’ from Swades and Maa Tujhe Salam which have struck an emotional chord with the fans.
The film will hit the silver screens towards the second half of 2021.
