Oppo Reno 8 series are scheduled to launch in India on July 18th. They will contain two variants in the series: Oppo Reno 8 and Oppo Reno 8 Pro (a rebrand of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ already launched in China). Since these phones have already debuted in the Chinese market we are aware of the specifications and features. Still, until we wait for an official confirmation of the same, the company has revealed the liquid cooling and chipset details of the Oppo Reno 8 series.

Specifications and Features:
1. Chipsets:
Oppo Reno 8 has a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 with a 6nm octa-core CPU. The CPU is packed with 3 GHz ARM Cortex A78 + 2.6 GHz for superb performance. Tri core, which consists of Cortex A78 + 2 GHz, a Quad-core of Cortex A55 as well as HyperEngine 5.0 gaming technologies.
Oppo Reno 8 Pro has a Dimensity 8100 with an octa-core chipset of 2.4 GHz ARM Cortex A710 + 2.36 GHz. Tri core- Cortex A710 + 1.8 GHz and a Quad-core of Cortex A510. It supports HyperEngine 5.0 gaming technologies as well.
2. Display and Design:
Oppo Reno 8 has an AMOLED display with a screen size being 6.43 inches and a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and has corning Gorilla Glass v5 screen protection. Its height, weight, thickness, and width are 160.6mm, 179grams, 7.6mm, and 73.4mm respectively. It will come in three colours which are Night Tour Black, Clear Sky Blue, and Slightly Drunk.
Oppo Reno 8 Pro as well, comes with an AMOLED display with a screen size of 6.62 inches and the same resolution as mentioned above. Its aspect ratio is 20:9 and it also has a corning Gorilla Glass v5 screen protection. Its height, weight, thickness, and width are 161mm, 188grams, 7.5mm, and 74.2mm respectively. It will come in three colours that you can choose from, which are Encounter Blue, Night Tour Black, and Slightly Drunk.
3. Battery:
Both the phones are confirmed to have a battery of 4500 mAh with Oppo’s 80W SuperVOOC flash charge technology. The company has claimed to charge a 50% battery in 11 minutes. Oppo Reno 8 Pro is equipped with an ultra-conductive colling system that makes use of ultra-conductive graphite, a new material that is said to improve the cooling process by 45% as compared to the normal graphite used.
4. Network and connectivity:
Both the phones have two nano SIM slots with 5G network support, 4G, and 3G as well, of course, WiFi, hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS along with a C-type USB.
5. Storage and Pricing:
8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage for both. The expected prices for the Oppo Reno 8 and Oppo Reno 8 pro in India are to be Rs. 29,990 and Rs. 42,900 respectively.
