Priyanka Chopra Jonas spills the beans on Matrix 4; Reveals what her shooting experience post COVID was like

After delivering a strong performance in not one, but two Netflix movies this month, We Can Be Heroes and The White Tiger, Priyanka Chopra Jonas spoke to Variety on what’s next. As avid fans are aware, PeeCee has got an exciting year ahead of us with movies such as The Matrix 4 and Text for You for which she just wrapped up shooting in London. While talking to the magazine, PeeCee opened up about the features that inspired her to take up acting as a profession, confessing she wasn’t even aware if acting was a career choice for her, the actress loved watching Full House, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Saved by the Bell. 

 

Talking about the possibilities of broadening her horizons, when asked if she’d ever star in a musical, PeeCee revealed that she just watched Anne Hathaway starrer Les Misérables. And confessed that she would love to be part of an artistic musical or something fun like La La Land. Although Chopra added that she’d much rather prefer the dark artistic roles as it challenges her as an actor. 

 

While talking about her highly-anticipated Matrix 4, which also stars heartthrob Keanu Reeves, Chopra said that while she can’t reveal what fans can expect from the movie, she can tell that she recently finished filming for the movie and given that it was the actress’ first movie post lockdown, she felt very comfortable on set due to the safety protocols that were being taken. 

 

While concluding the chat, Chopra also mentioned that she’d love to make her directorial debut one day and while she understands the huge responsibility it is, it is something that she thinks often about.
