The businesswoman posted on Instagram sweet memories from last year, when she celebrated the festival of lights with papa Rishi and mom Neetu Kapoor at Abhishek Bachchan’s residence. Rishi Kapoor posed for the shutterbugs in a pink kurta and white pyjama and completed his ethnic wear with funky pink shoes for the bash. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has been living with her mother Neetu Kapoor at their Mumbai home after her father’s demise. The mother-daughter duo also adopted a pet after Rishi Kapoor passed away. The veteran actor was battling with cancer for over two years, and also received treatment in New York City before he returned to Mumbai.

For the uninitiated, Riddhima attended her father Rishi Kapoor’s final rites through a video call. As the actor died during the global lockdown period, the permission was denied by the government authorities. But nothing could stop her; Riddhima travelled by road after securing a movement pass back when the entire country was under the initial stage of lockdown. Rishi Kapoor’s last rites were performed at the Chandanwadi Crematorium in Kalbadevi, Mumbai, near the H.N Reliance hospital where he was admitted.
