See Where 'Teen Mom 2' Alum Jenelle Evans' Ex Kieffer Delp Is Today

He’s been off our TV screens for so long that it’s easy to forget about one of Jenelle Evans’ earliest boyfriends, Kieffer Delp. The Teen Mom 2 alum dated him at the very beginning of the show — a simpler time in her life. In the years since these two split, a lot changed for Evans. She has two more children and a marriage to husband David Eason under her belt. But what about Delp? As it turns out, he’s also been through some major life changes. Get the details, below.

Kieffer was often in and out of Jenelle’s life.

Delp, 30, and Evans, 29, shared a romance that lasted nearly two years, though they went through some major ups and downs during their time together. After the MTV mama split from ex Gary Head in 2012, she and Delp reignited their romance, only to break up again. They gave it another shot in 2016 after she split from ex Nathan Griffith. These two always found their way back to each other over the years, but didn’t end up working out in the long run.

Kieffer dealt with some major addiction issues.

Fans watched as he and Evans dealt with drug use and their arrests because of it on Teen Mom. However, he was also arrested in January 2018 for running a meth lab. E News! reported he was behind bars until his sentencing in August 2018, when he agreed to serve 18 to 36 months in a state correctional facility as part of a plea deal. In February 2020, he was released only to be arrested less than a week later because of an outstanding warrant for jumping bail. The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported he wasn’t allowed to leave the state of Pennsylvania, but cops picked him up after he visited his hometown of Salem, New Jersey. After posting bail, Delp was released from Salem County Correctional Facility.

Before 2020 came to an end, Delp was arrested again on October 27. A Pennsylvania prison confirmed he was booked for a parole violation in his 2018 operating a meth lab case to The Sun in November.

He sought professional help.

In February 2020, Delp revealed he was headed to a halfway house in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. “I made the [right] choice,” he told fans via Twitter. A few days later, the former TV personality confirmed things were looking up. “When [people] feel bad for [you] but [you] know for a fact they should envy [you] if anything … Fact is [you’re] gonna be at least OK. #solid,” he wrote. In March, he even shared he was thinking about getting a zen garden to help him feel “centered.”

He’s focused on his fitness.

It seems Delp is still a work in progress and his new passion is exercise. “Running is life … Life is running,” he wrote on Twitter in April 2020. “Fitness [is greater than] getting high,” he added in May. “No comparison.”
