A source reveals, “One such evening post pack up, Shalin expressed his concern over the waste carelessly dumped on the sets. In no time he started picking up the plastic bottles & garbage lying around by himself accompanied by his co- stars. We were rather impressed but also it created a different atmosphere on the sets & all of the crew followed suit. Everyone from cast & crew started disposing off the waste correctly.” Shalin Bhanot does not usually go to social media or post anything. He said, “We have all been reduced to being mere online activists. I’m sure there are many who are really concerned about the environment but it is 2021 & even after enormous awareness on effects of plastic pollution, I don’t see much of a change.
