“I am relaxed now. Making my debut for India is a big relief. I was a bit nervous. A century could have been cherry on the cake. For the next couple of days, I just want to be home and eat my favourite dishes”, Gill concluded.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh will be mighty proud of the way Gill batted against the quality bowling attack of Australia in his debut series. Now, Shubman Gill will be aiming to continue his prolific batting form against England. He and Rohit Sharma are likely to stay openers for team India in the home Test series against England.
