Silambarasan TR’s next with Gautam Menon: AR Rahman comes on board as music director

Last night, sensational director Gautham Vasudev Menon announced that his next film with Silambarasan TR will have AR Rahman as the music director. He added that the aura of Rahman will light up their lives. “Dear Universe, thank you for making this possible. It’s @arrahman‘s music & his Aura that will light up our lives once again in our next collaboration. We truly believe in that. Thankfully- @SilambarasanTR_ & myself. @IshariKGanesh @VelsFilmIntl #HBDSilambarasanTR”, he wrote on his Twitter space.

Gautham Menon has already collaborated with Silambarasan TR for two of his films namely Vinnai Thandi Varuvaaya and Acham Enbadhu Madamayada. It is expected that more updates regarding this film will be announced by the makers soon. There is also a strong buzz on social media that the film will have Nayanthara as the leading lady. However, the makers have not yet announced who will be seen as the female lead.

Meanwhile, Silambarasan TR was last seen in the rural drama titled Eeswaran directed by Suseenthiran. He also has two other films in his kitty namely Maanaadu and Pathu Thala. Yesterday, the teaser of Maanaadu was revealed as his birthday special. Pathu Thala will be directed by Sillunu Oru Kadhal fame Krishna. It was also announced a couple of days back that Silambarasan has volunteered to act in a fund riser film which will be produced by Tamil Nadu Movie Makers Sangam.
