South Korean actress Song Yoo Jung passes away; Agency yet to confirm Make Your Wish star’s cause of death

South Korean actress Song Yoo Jung (aka Song Yu Jung) is no more. The news about her death was reported by E-Daily Star, via Soompi, the actress died on January 23. The actress was 26 years old. The actress”s agency has confirmed that Song Yoo Jung is no more. However, there has been no clarity on the cause of the actress’s sudden death. A source from her agency Sublime Artist Agency said, “Song Yu Jung passed away on January 23.” 

The actress’s funeral procession will take place on January 25, starting from 1:30 p.m. KST. According to Star Today, the mortuary has been prepared in the funeral hall of the Gangnam branch of the Seoul Medical Center. For the unversed, Song Yoo Jung began her career as a cosmetics brand model before she made her acting debut. The actress embarked on her acting career with MBC’s Golden Rainbow in 2013. Song Yoo Jung went on to appear in shows like Make Your Wish, School 2017 and Dear My Name.

Apart from the small screen roles, Song Yoo Jung was also seen in music videos for iKON‘s Goodbye Road, Standing Egg’s Friend to Lover and NIve’s How Do I. She also appeared in commercials promoting coffee, cosmetics, and ice cream brands, which led to the actress climbing up the ladder of fame. Song Yoo Jung reportedly signed Sublime Artist Agency in 2019 and was expected to take a step forward in her acting career.
