Back in July 2019, when they were about to begin shooting for the yet-untitled film (now titled Sulthan), Rashamika had said, “I am very excited to make my debut in Tamil. The project will star Karthi, with Bakkiyaraj sir directing it. SR Prabhu sir is producing the movie. I am very proud and happy to be a part of the film. It will be something new and special. The shoot was supposed to have started by now, but there is some delay. We will likely begin the shoot by August.”
