Talking to E Times, she said, “I am also January born and he too is, so as soon as this month starts I start thinking about Sushant and my birthday. I miss him everyday and think about him. I mostly think why did he do this, what was the reason and I miss him everyday.”
The actress revealed that she started valuing her life post the sudden demise of SSR and asserted, “In fact, even today when I start working I think about him. I stay close to the sea whenever I sit and think about him, I recall that he also had a similar house. He would sit in his balcony and watch the stars. Whenever we would speak, he would talk about stars, galaxy and planets. He would motivate us all with his talks and would discuss his plans and aspirations that he had for the future. He would tell us I will do this in life, that in life. He had so many plans. Now, after his death one thing I have realised that no matter what you achieve in life, if you are not happy and satisfied then the achievements are not worth it. So, it’s important to be happy in life no matter what issues you deal with. Success, fame, money all these things will not give you happiness and it should not depend on these materialistic things. Life is precious and we should live it to the fullest.”
Speaking about SSR, she said, “He was not fake, plastic, he was very real. He would be happy in his own life and never bothered about things. He belonged to a middle class family and he was happy about it, he never cribbed about it. He was natural and true. I want to be like him.” Revealing she and Sushant watched Kai Po Che together, the gorgeous actress added, “Kai Po Che will always be close to my heart because that was the film which we saw together. It was a film which we all dreamt for him and we saw that dream together. We all prayed hard so that the film turns out to be a big hit. We saw Sushant working really hard day and night for that film. I watched him very closely working hard on the film.”
