Amandeep Sidhu who was seen in shows like Paraamvatar Shri Krishna, Vish ya Amrit Sitaara, Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai and others will be making her debut as the lead actress soon. She will be seen as Mahi in Teri Meri Ikk Jindri opposite Adhvik Mahajan. The show will begin from tomorrow but the promos of the show have already left us excited for this unique story of Jogi and Mahi. Teri Meri Ikk Jindri is the love story of Jogi and Mahi who are completely opposite of each other. Both have different point of views in life but they are made for each other. Amandeep Sidhu in an exclusive interview with BollywoodLife spoke about what made her take up acting. She said, “The only thing that pushed me really hard was that I was very comfortable in front of the camera. One of the photographers used to say that it looks like you are quite familiar with the camera. He told me I should try acting and I can do well in it. That time we also had musically, Dubsmash and Tik Tok and all those apps. Hence I was very confident that I want to act and that acting is so easy. It started from there and now I have realised acting is not easy but it is a huge responsibility. You have to learn a lot in it.” Also Read – Teri Meri Ikk Jindri: Adhvik Mahajan on his bond with co-star Amandeep Sidhu; says, ‘Pata bhi nahi chala and we became close’ [EXCLUSIVE]

From being a model and doing small roles to now being the lead actress of a TV show, Amandeep spoke about her journey in the industry. She said, “My journey has been really nice. Many people do not get this opportunity and I feel I am lucky as I got many good people in my life. And for me no work was small even today it is not. Someone had asked me my choice between OTT and TV and it was clear that for me everything is equal. Earlier, I was like I need work and I belong to this family and I only wanted to see if I can do this. I kept on exploring and then I realised that this is finally happening. Then I was confident that I want to be an actress.” Amandeep Sidhu also praised her co-star Adhvik Mahajan. She shared, “I am being very honest and I am not buttering but I am very glad that he is a very nice human being. Bahut accha admi hai bahut genuine admi hai. He never made me realise that he is a senior actor and I am learning. He has always helped me. Even while doing scenes, he used to tell me that what I could have done well or he would appreciated if I did a scene well. So these are the things one likes and with a co-actor this connection is very important because at the end you have to bee seen with him only. You need to have a good connection with your co-star and only then it will look good on-screen and people will love your chemistry. And I am lucky in that way that I did not have to struggle for it. Me and Adhvik connected very well and you guys will see it on-screen as well. I don’t think I will get this opportunity ever again because we are in this industry where most of the shoots happen in the Film City in Mumbai so we are lucky we got to shoot in Amritsar. I am grateful to my producer and the channel for giving me this opportunity. Amandeep Sidhu also spoke about Jogi and Mahi being the trendsetters like #Kaira, #PreeRan, #AbhiGya and other popular TV jodis. She shared, “I don’t want to be in that competition but I just want people to love us. Our story is very different and hence I want something different to happen.” Also Read – Tamas short film: Rashami Desai and Adhvik Mahajan’s short film has a strong social message
