Regrettably, as Moff Gideon gleefully disclosed she needed to win against the Darksaber in the battle to claim it, with Bo-Katan unable to bring it out of Din despite his entreaties unless he fought. This tension was quickly punctured by the arrival of more Dark Troopers and Luke, but we are betting we haven’t seen the final of this Darksaber tussle in The Mandalorian. Who knows? Maybe after all this time, we will finally visit Mandalore itself, which has as of yet not appeared at the Disney+ show.
And there’s at least one more thread left dangling after Moff Gideon reveals that he already took Baby Yoda’s Force-friendly bloodstream before the team’s arrival. Where did the blood flow? If not Moff Gideon, who’s using it, and for what? Can it be linked to Snoke and the return of the Emperor at The past Skywalker, or is there some other insidious function?

Pedro Pascal will be back as Din Djarin, otherwise known as Mando, and Katee Sackhoff will likely return as Bo-Katan, as well as Sasha Banks as Koska Reeves. Gina Carano’s Cara Dune and Carl Weathers’ Greef Karga will probably also put in appearances. Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen could pop up again as Boba Fett and Fennec Shand, respectively, but they have their very own show now, and their problems to be concerned about. Perhaps Rosario Dawson could reunite as Ahsoka Tano, although her event did seem like it was just a one-time thing, plus she is getting her show too.
