It seems that there’s some news in the case of Tory Lanes and Megan Thee Stallion. Check out the latest reports coming from The Shade Room here.
TSR notes that an attorney for Tory Lanez has filed a motion ‘to modify the terms of the protection order that was placed against him in the Megan Thee Stallion case so that he can publicly discuss new evidence that supports his innocence, his team says.’
It’s been also revealed the fact that Tory wants to be able to publicly defend himself following last week – just in case you don’t remember what had happened back then, well Megan fired off a series of tweets about him after a false report suggested she dropped the charges against him.
‘In light of (Megan’s) recent tweets and the public attention to this matter, Mr Peterson asks that this Court modify the protective order as it relates to him, his counsel and/or his representatives,’ a rep for Tory said.
One single day after this went public on social media, Tory’s rep said that the prosecutors in the case had provided Tory’s attorney with evidence and some eyewitness testimony which ‘directly contradict the statements’ of Megan.
A commenter said: ‘Idc what y’all say. There are two sides to every story. He might be innocent,’ and someone posted this question: ‘Why Megan allowed to speak out publicly but he can’t? It’s not fair.’
Not too long ago, it’s been revealed that although Megan Thee Stallion has maintained that she was shot by Tory Lanez for nearly half of a year, people are still questioning (and doubting) that she is telling the truth.
The speculation grew even louder when false reports that Megan dropped the charges spread like wildfire.
Hot New Hip Hop reported that although the case proceedings appeared blank at one point, the next court date is set for February 25th.
Stay tuned for more news about the case.
