Trent Reznor Denies Sexually Assaulting Woman With Marilyn Manson, Says Rocker Made Up The Story For His Book!

Trent Reznor, the Oscar-winning composer, and frontman for the groundbreaking, industrial group Nine Inch Nails, wants the world to know that he did not physically and sexually assault a woman with Marilyn Manson, as the shock rocker alleges in his 1998 autobiography The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell.

Trent Reznor mentored Manson and was instrumental in Marilyn’s career reaching the heights that it did. In the early nineties, Reznor rented and lived at 10050 Cielo Drive — the home of the Family Manson murders. He created a recording studio there that he called Pig, in vein with the creepy, messages the Manson killers scrawled in their victims’ blood.

10050 Cielo Drive is the house once rented by Roman Polanski and his wife Sharon Tate when members of the Manson family cult crept in and violently slaughtered five people including Sharon Tate and her eight-month, unborn son who was murdered while in the womb. In total, Sharon Tate, Abigail Folger (heiress to the Folger coffee company) Wojciech Frykowski, Steven Parent, and celebrity hairstylist Jay Sebring lost their lives.

Also, in the early nineties, an underground band was making headlines in Florida, Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids. Trent Reznor had a vision for Manson’s music and the two began to collaborate.

While Trent Reznor was living in the home where the murders attributed for ending the hippie generation took place, Marilyn Manson was gaining notoriety. The band, that started in 1989, was working on their first album, tentatively called The Manson Family Album. Manson didn’t like the way production was moving on the album and Manson signed with Trent Reznor’s label Nothing Records.

Manson and the band (except for Gidget Gein) headed from Florida to Los Angeles and accompanied Trent Reznor in the house where America’s most gruesome celebrity murders took place. There they  reworked and renamed the album from The Manson Family Album to Portrait of an American Family and it is Marilyn Manson’s first studio album.

You may see a video of Trent Reznor with Nine Inch Nails featuring Marilyn Manson for the 1992 song “Gave Up” that was filmed at 10050 Cielo Drive (the home has since been demolished) below. It is believed that Trent Reznor still has the front door to the infamous home.

Trent Reznor and Marilyn Manson did not have a perfectly harmonious working eperience or friendship. Rifts began to develop and they publicly had many differences; however Manson stayed with Reznor’s label until its demise in 2004.

Now that abuse allegations have surfaced surrounding Marilyn Manson (real name Brian Hugh Warner), a passage from Manson’s 1998 autobiography The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell are making social media rounds and drawing interest and scrutiny.

In fact, everything that Manson wrote in his autobiography is getting a closer examination as cancel culture has come for the Grammy-nominated artist and they are collecting receipts!

Manson spoke about a number of alleged situations that if true, are criminal in nature. Even Corey Feldman was written about in the book prompting the former child actor and sexual abuse activist to speak out publicly.

In the book, Marilyn Manson writes about an incident where he and Trent Reznor allegdly abused an incoherent and intoxicated woman.

Trent’s supporters are already looking to past interviews to show that Trent was furious with Marilyn Manson for the publication and comments he made.

Trent released a statement to Pitchfork where he denied the allegations and further distanced himself from Marilyn Manson.

He stated the following.

I have been vocal over the years about my dislike of Manson as a person and cut ties with him nearly 25 years ago. As I said at the time, the passage from Manson’s memoir is a complete fabrication. I was infuriated and offended back when it came out and remain so today.
