“It’s a new normal biwi and for your kind information they are shorts they were it then,” Wasim Akram responded.

Meanwhile, the picture of Wasim Akram was originally put out by cricket broadcaster Gautam Bhimani on the occasion of the festival of colours – Holi. Bhimani had posted a throwback picture, where he could be seen standing next to Wasim Akram. He also stated in the caption that it was the time when both the Indian and Pakistani sides were playing Holi in a swimming pool.

In a career spanning almost two decades, the left-arm bowling colossus picked up 916 wickets in both Tests and ODIs combined. Akram was also a member of the Pakistan side that won the 1992 World Cup.
