Shardul Thakur too returned back to Mumbai from Australia on Thursday. He also like Natarajan virtually made his Test debut in Sydney. He bowled just 11 balls on his Test debut before pulling out with an injury.

Parents Welcome Back Shardul Thakur

Getting his opportunity in Sydney, Thakur made it count. He scored 67 with the bat and added a crucial 123 run seventh-wicket stand with Washington Sundar. He also picked up seven wickets in his debut Test and made a match-winning contribution to the series win in the process.
