New character, new look

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai recently went through major change in the story. We saw Naira and Kartik being separated after Naira falls off a cliff. Kartik is shattered as he loses his wife and wants to leave the house along with her. However, later returns for his kids, Kairav and Akshara. We have seen how Kartik is over possessive about his kids and does not let them go away from him even once. He has become an over-protective father and wants to fill Naira’s place in Kairav and Akshara’s life. Kartik does all that he needs for his kids and has forgotten to love himself and live for himself. Manish and the other members are not happy with the way Kartik is living and hence decide to send Kairav away to a boarding school so that Kartik gets time for himself. Kairav hears this conversation and decides to leave for his father. However, Kartik does not agree and wants Kairav to stay back. In the meantime, Kairav also develops interest for boxing but Kartik does not allow him. Kartik drops Kairav to his new boarding school and we finally see the entry of Shivangi Joshi with a new character. Yes, our favourite actress has entered the show as Sirat who is a boxer.
