Paytm will give Rs 50 crore cashback on 6 years of Digital India

 Paytm will give cashback of Rs 50 crore on completion of 6 years of Digital India Mission, Paytm, the country’s most popular digital payment app, guaranteed cash back has been launched. Under this offer, the company has announced to give cash back of 50 crores on the transactions done by the merchants and customers through its app. Digital India was launched on 1 July 2015 by the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi. Its objective is to make India digitally enabled and strong.

The company has kept a fund reserve of Rs 50 crore for this cashback scheme. In the joy of completing 6 years of Paytm Digital India, the company has made this preparation to promote online transactions.

To promote online and digital transactions, the company plans to launch online activities at the grassroots level in more than 200 districts to train merchants and customers to make digital payments and reward them for adopting cashless payments. Paytm CEO, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, said that India has made significant progress in its Digital India mission. Shekhar further said that in addition to cashback, free of cost soundboxes and IoT devices will also be provided to merchant customers doing the highest number of transactions through Paytm app Paytm app before Diwali.
