Neha Dhupia opens up on dealing with online hate & trolls, says she’s shocked by how casually people threaten

Neha Dhupia continues to face online hate and backlash from trolls ever since her comments on Roadies went viral a while ago. To date, the actress and host comes across vile messages and is shocked by how casually people threaten her and other women online. In a recent interview, the actress opened up on how she deals with such hate on social media and trolling. 

Speaking about how she witnesses trolling on almost a daily basis, Neha said, “I don”t understand how trolls can abuse someone’s wife or daughter and then go share a meal with their own family.” 

She added saying that her ability to attach and detach helps in dealing with the massive amount of hate that comes her way. “I think I have the ability to attach and detach. So I deal with it in my own way, but I don’t think it’s right. And to a great extent, it accounts for emotional abuse and that’s not right,” she added.

Neha’s comments on an episode of Roadies Revolution had taken social media by storm. The actress had spoken about adultery and violence against women when a contestant on the show revealed he had slapped his girlfriend for cheating on him. Neha  slammed the contestant and said that it was the girl’s choice to cheat on him, which did not go down well with netizens.   

While it became a huge talking point on social media, Neha also issued a detailed statement in the matter.
