While many will have been excited to see Manoj Bajpayee lead the cast once again of ‘The Family Man’ in season two, it seems they might have to wait longer than anticipated as it’s emerged that the premiere of the web-series is currently being delayed.
Talking to PTI, a source said, “The streaming platform is talking, debating about delaying the release of the show”.
“The show has been postponed as the platform appears to be cautious. There’s nothing in season two of ‘The Family Man’ that would hurt anybody but given the current scenario, to be on a safer note it has been decided to push ahead the release of the show”, added the source.
Amazon Prime, which is the platform the series is due to be released on, landed in some controversy with recent release ‘Tandav’ and also ‘Mirzapur’ seasons. The season two trailer launch of ‘The Family Man’ was due to happen on 19th January but was postponed.
