12 years of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai began on January 12, 2009. Since the first episode aired, fans have showered love on the show. The story began with Akshara and Naitik played by Hina Khan and Karan Mehra. Akshara and Naitik’s jodi entertained the audience for 8 long years and now the focus has shifted to Kartik and Naira played by Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi. Kartik and Naira aka #Kaira became our favourites in no time. It has been more than four years since we are loving #Kaira. However, even Kartik and Naira’s love story has ended now. We saw Naira’s sad death sequence and it brought tears to our eyes. Producer Rajan Shahi and team celebrated #Kaira day on January 6 and honoured Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi. The show completed 12 years on January 12 which is a huge achievement. The team of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai had grand celebrations on this occasion.
