Google Chrome Users – Update your browser Immediately!

Google Chrome

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team(CERT), which falls under the IT ministry, recently issued a warning for users of Google Chrome. Users must update their browsers as soon as possible. This is because there are severe vulnerabilities in the previous version.

It has been discovered that there are many vulnerabilities in Google Chrome that can be exploited by attackers. They can get access to the personal data of users and also track their locations and other activity. The attacker could also inject malware onto the system of the user. This might slow down the system and spread across various applications.

Acting on this issue, Google quickly released a new version which has fixed many of these vulnerabilities. Google said that the latest update consists of 22 security fixes.
